The Donna A. Endicott Community Education Room is HSHPE's community space where we gather, share knowledge, and welcome in members of the public to spread awareness about the important work of the Humane Society. This room sees hundreds of Rescue Readers annually, is the home of countless fundraisers, shelter events, and our summer camps, and hosts many professional events and personal celebrations throughout the year.
Community Room Rental Options
Consider renting our Community Room for your next family gathering, birthday party, or staff training session! The Community Room rental rates are detailed below.

Half-Day Rental (4 hours) - $250

Animal Tour & Interaction Package (Add-On): $50 - more details provided in Rental Inclusions below.

Non-profit rates:
Half-day rental (4 hours) - $200
Full-day rental (8 hours) - $350
proof of non-profit status may be required.

Our Community Room is currently only available for rental on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday evening bookings may be available upon request. More information on booking can be found at the bottom of this page.
Rental Inclusions
Included with every rental are the following:

Access to our community room and adjoining patio

Fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, microwave) for food preparation and serving

Tables and chairs
-
Basic cleaning supplies
-
Access to washrooms

Please note that decor and table linens are not included.

We also offer the option to add on the Animal Tour & Interaction Package (30-45 mins), available at an additional cost of $50. The package includes:

A guided tour of the shelter

Meet-and-greet with animals*
-
Staff Q&A about animal care and adoption

Photo opportunities

*we cannot guarantee interaction with any particular species of animal, as we do not know in advance what animals we will have in the shelter at the time and cannot promise that we will have animals who will benefit from a party visit. The safety of our animals, staff, and visitors is always our top priority!
